Sun Outdoors, NPF Support ASL Day on the River

With support from Sun Outdoors through the National Park Foundation’s ParkVentures program, Wilderness Inquiry is helping to expand access to the outdoors by providing trip assistance for participants with differing abilities. As part of their ASL Day on the River, Wilderness Inquiry brought the Deaf and DeafBlind community together for a guided canoe trip in the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area.

ASL Day on the River
Sun Outdoors and the National Park Foundation are working to bring communities together by funding projects like ASL Day On The River, which brings Deaf and DeafBlind people together to build community, connect with nature, and help to remove barriers to accessing our national parks.
