KPVI Highlights the Expansion of Voting Rights Interpretive Center

Local NBC affiliate KPVI in Selma, Alabama featured the announcement of the land acquisition that will expand the Voting Rights Interpretive Center along the Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail. The six newly acquired properties, donated by the National Park Foundation (NPF) with funding made possible through an anonymous donor and the Fund II Foundation, will be the site for a $10 million interpretive education enter commemorating the Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches of 1965. See NPF’s release on the news, and read the full piece from KPVI.
