Senior Manager, Lands ProgramJenny Katz"The work of land conservation is a vital, but often overlooked, component of park management. My ultimate goal is to get land protected by the full weight of the National Park Service - meaning that it is protected forever. Lands conserved by NPS operate at the rate of giant sequoias growing, of glaciers moving over a plain, of historic monuments gaining a patina. I'm drawn to this slower pace, to protecting old important things, and to a deeper connection with our landscapes and cultural legacies."
-
Senior Director, Major GiftsKyle Funakoshi"I'm driven by the idea of creating a 'Beloved Community, the concept popularized by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and I believe national parks are one of our greatest tools for creating a community that is rooted in love and respects and values people for what they bring to the table."
-
Associate Director, Digital EngagementMo Gallo"My love for parks is what brought me to the National Park Foundation, but seeing the incredible impact and the huge range of projects we work on is what gets me excited to come to work every day. I feel lucky to be able to share the importance of all the national park sites and their stories with such a large audience."
-
Director, Resilience & Sustainability ProgramsAshley McEvoy"We live on a planet with finite resources, and I want to create solutions to our energy and climate obstacles that are centered on the health of people and communities. This can look like using alternative and renewable energy to reduce greenhouse emissions, improve air quality, and mitigate climate change, or reducing trash sent to landfills so we don't leave future generations with waste they can't manage."
-
Senior Director, Corporate PartnershipsKim Hirose"What really attracted me to NPF was the unique collaboration of NPF's corporate partnerships, marketing, and communications teams to collectively build awareness, engagement, and revenue to make an impact for our national parks. The collaborative NPF culture, combined with my personal passion for wildlife and land conservation, makes it a dream job."
