William S. Singer

William S. Singer “Bill,” of counsel at Kirkland and Ellis LLP, has a long history in government and civic affairs in Chicago, having served in elective and appointed offices, as well as serving on communal and civic boards. He has been a member of the Illinois bar since 1965.

Bill graduated from Brandeis with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School. He is married to JoAnne Cicchelli, and they have four children: Emily Singer, Elizabeth Cicchelli, Kate Cicchelli and Andrew Singer.
