A Statement from National Park Foundation President and CEO Will Shafroth

The National Park Foundation congratulates Tommy Beaudreau on his nomination to become the next Deputy Secretary of the Department of the Interior.

Tommy is a champion for conservation and true lover of the outdoors. While serving as Chief of Staff for Interior Secretary Sally Jewell, he was instrumental in ensuring the creation and improvement of national park sites throughout the country. His deep knowledge of the Department of the Interior, public lands and natural resources management and conservation will serve Secretary Haaland well.

The National Park Foundation looks forward to working with Beaudreau to protect our National Parks and connect all Americans to these great places.
