The Old Natchez Trace was a 500-mile footpath that connected Mississippi to Tennessee. It is now a National Scenic Trail made of five trails that total more than 60 miles.
The Old Natchez Trace ran through Choctaw and Chickasaw lands connecting Natchez, Mississippi, to Nashville, Tennessee. You can experience portions of that journey the way earlier travelers did ' by traveling one of the five trails on foot.
The five segments of the trail are: Highland Rim Trail, Blackland Prairie, Yockanookany, Rocky Springs, and Potkopinu.
