Love Your Park

A Cross-Sector Network to Increase the Ways We Collectively Give Back to Our Treasured National Parks

In partnership with the National Park Service, the National Park Foundation is launching the Love Your Park network to strengthen the national parks community, enhance national parks, and improve the visitor experience.

Aligning with the Find Your Park/Encuentra Tu Parque movement, which inspires people from all backgrounds to discover and share their own unique connections to America’s national parks and community-based programs, Love Your Park takes the next step to deepen their engagement and motivate them to become committed stewards through volunteerism, service corps, and financial support.

Love Your Park connects park partners and park enthusiasts across the country – from veterans’ organizations, to service corps, to science and education institutions, to Friends Groups, and others – to coordinate opportunities to increase volunteerism, service corps, and financial support to national parks. It will empower these partners to galvanize their local supporters to volunteer and give back to parks in meaningful ways. The network will provide members with the tools, materials, resources, shared learnings, data collection, and funding to create and expand innovative volunteer programs and foster meaningful connections across sectors.

This support, in turn, will help parks protect their natural resources, maintain their cultural and physical assets, increase access for new audiences, and re-imagine their interpretive and educational programs. Love Your Park will serve as an umbrella for existing and new activities that support parks.
