NPF's America's Best Idea Grant brought multicultural middle and high school students to Grand Teton National Park for outdoor learning opportunities.

America's Best Idea Grant helped fund two opportunities in Grand Teton National Park.

First, Young Stewards & Leaders was a multicultural leadership program for Teton County's high school students. During this year-long program, youth participated in three overnight retreats in the park and enjoyed a conservation-focused speaker series that connected them to nature and planted the seeds for future careers.

Grand Teton National Park also provided experiential outdoor opportunities for over 40 local underserved Latino students. The Children in Nature Multicultural Engagement Program engaged high school students in mentoring middle school students in park activities for two weeks.
