Washington Monument

Let him who looks for a monument to Washington look around the United States. Your freedom, your independence, your national power, your prosperity, and your prodigious growth are a monument to him.
— Lajos Kossuth
An Enduring Legacy
Few of the Founding Fathers inspire as much reverence as George Washington. The Washington Monument is a testament to his leadership, honoring and memorializing his enduring contributions to the United States.
