Located in the Mojave Desert, this National Monument has Joshua trees and unparalleled landscape views.
Visitors can expect the starkness of the desert to be pleasantly contrasted with the vibrancy of life found in this escape from nearby urban areas. The site protects nearly 21,000 acres of Joshua trees, mountains, desert grasslands, and wildlife.
In partnership with the National Park Service, the National Park Foundation is piloting a volunteer network to strengthen the national parks community, enhance national parks, and improve the visitor experience.
