How You Can Experience the Find Your Park Expedition
On September 14, 2016 we announced the winners of the 2016 Find Your Park Expedition!
From September 24 - October 1, 2016 the National Park Foundation will take eight online influencers and social media stars on an unforgettable journey highlighting the diversity of culture, landscape, and people that make up our National Park System – a trip that is a testament to all that the Find Your Park/Encuentra Tu Parque movement embodies.
The winners will not only visit national parks in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park, and San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, in addition to Yosemite National Park, but they will also have the incredible fortune of spending quality time with National Park Service staff, the dedicated people who protect America’s special places and shared history for all of us.
We asked each national park to tell us why they look forward to hosting and guiding our winners later this month. Here is what each had to say…
