Washington, DC - The Flight 93 National Memorial Campaign has introduced text-based mobile donating as a way to support building the nation’s permanent tribute to the 40 Heroes of Flight 93.

Mobile phone users can simply text MEMORIAL to 90999 and reply YES to a confirmation message to make a one-time $10 donation to Flight 93. Donors can text a donation up to three times per monthly billing cycle depending on the carrier*. After donating, reply with YES again when prompted to receive exclusive Flight 93 mobile updates on the progress of the Memorial.

All donations will help fund construction of the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Construction of the memorial began in April 2010, with plans to dedicate the memorial in September 2011 when the nation observes the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

In addition to texting, supporters of the Flight 93 National Memorial can still donate on-line, by mail, or by phone (for more information, click here). To-date, more than 60,000 donors have pledged their support for protecting this sacred ground and teaching future generations about Flight 93’s inspiring message of hope and human courage.
