2007 America's Best Classroom
More than 25,000 children, most affiliated with Boys & Girls Clubs of America chapters, have had "a summer to remember" and, for many, their first-ever national park experience through the America's Best Classroom program. America's Best Classroom links together a long-standing partnership with the National Park Foundation, Unilever and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. On day-long or overnight field trips, kids participate in service-to-land projects and ranger-led interpretive presentations.
Partnering with their local Boys & Girls Club chapters, Unilever employees serve as mentors, chaperones and champions, discovering and exploring national parks alongside the kids. America's Best Classroom program strives to inspire today's youth to become tomorrow's conservationists, preservationists, philanthropists and stewards.
The America’s Best Classroom program is made possible through the generous support of Unilever, a Proud Partner of America’s National Parks.
