Best Buy Children’s Foundation

Best Buy Children’s Foundation LogoThe generous support of the Best Buy Children’s Foundation has helped the National Park Foundation and National Park Service launch a new, enhanced and expanded WebRangers site. WebRangers is the online companion to the Junior Ranger program. It is designed to give access to and connect all children to the National Park System. Children and their families complete a variety of online activities and earn rewards as they learn about our nation’s greatest treasures.

Davidson Companies

Davidson Companies LogoIn August 2007, Davidson Companies launched a partnership with the National Park Foundation to reduce paper waste and for each new or existing client who switches from paper delivery to electronic delivery of statements, trade confirmations, proxy notices and other documents between August 1, 2007 and January 31, 2008, Davidson Companies will make a donation to the National Park Foundation with a minimum contribution of $50,000.

Ford Motor Company

Ford Motor Company - Proud Partner of America’s National ParksAs a long-time partner and eight year Proud Partner of America’s National Parks (2000-2008), Ford Motor Company has distinguished itself in its efforts to help raise awareness about and help sustain the treasured legacy of our national parks. Ford and its philanthropic arm, Ford Motor Company Fund, have worked closely with the National Park Foundation and the National Park Service to help develop innovative transportation and environmental solutions that enable visitors to enjoy the nation’s 391 national parks without compromising their beauty. International Paper

International Paper logoOver the past two years, the International Paper Foundation has worked with the National Park Foundation to support youth education programs in the national parks. In 2007, International Paper was a leading sponsor of the National Park Foundation Leadership Summit on Partnership and Philanthropy. In addition, International Paper and the Foundation are embarking on an exciting partnership to create conservation and recycling programs in national parks across the country.

L.L. Bean

L.L. BeanL.L.Bean has a long history of providing support to our national parks through the National Park Foundation. Over the years, L.L.Bean has worked with NPF to support several projects in the parks including the propane-powered Island Explorer bus system in Acadia National Park. L.L.Bean is continuing this tradition of philanthropy by designating the National Park Foundation as the charity of choice for donated L.L.Bean Coupon Dollars through its loyalty program. Each time Cardmembers make a purchase with their L.L.Bean Visa Card, they earn Coupon Dollars and have the option to donate those Coupon Dollars to support the work of National Park Foundation.

Macy’s

Macy’s logoThe National Park Foundation is the first charity in Macy’s history to be chosen as the sole beneficiary of a national charity shopping event. In addition to the “One Good Turn” shopping event on Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th, our partnership with Macy’s includes an exclusive Reusable Tote Bag, Kid Power Eco-Activity Book, the National Park Foundation Junior Ranger Essay Contest and an Electronic Field Trip to Everglades National Park. Magellan

Magellan LogoMagellan has donated 500 of its new Triton handheld navigation devices to the National Park Foundation and an additional cash contribution of $50,000. The Triton devices will be used as needed in supporting the conservation, preservation and enjoyment of Americas national treasures.

Merrell

Merrell logoWe are thrilled to announce our newest and largest outdoor brand partner to date, Merrell. National Park Foundation and Merrell share the like-minded goal of educating and motivating people of all ages and activity levels to get outside and play in our national outdoor playgrounds. Together we will work to get more people living active and outdoor lives.

Olympus

OlympusOlympus is the sole sponsor of the Share the Experience Photo Contest. The contest encourages people to experience the nation’s parks and federal recreation lands and take only photos, leaving the parks’ majestic beauty untouched for future generations to enjoy. Olympus is also supporting the National Park Service’s Air Web Camera initiative, which tracks and analyzes air quality at 16 national park locations. Images are captured every 15 minutes throughout each and every day at the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, the Great Smoky Mountains, and the Washington and Lincoln Memorials in Washington D.C., to name a few.

OSRAM SYLVANIA

OSRAM SYLVANIA LogoOSRAM SYLVANIA gave the Thomas Jefferson Memorial the gift of light by donating new lighting design, equipment and installation for the Memorial. The lighting design enhances public safety, preserves the historic cultural landscape and highlights the numerous architectural features of this national icon. The lighting control system will also decrease maintenance while increasing system sustainability.

PG&E National Energy Group

PG&E National Energy Group LogoPG&E National Energy Group, in partnership with the National Park Foundation and the National Park Service, supports the Connecting Communities and Parks program. The program funds community engagement events that bring underserved audiences and community representatives together for a meaningful National Park experience. Connecting Communities and Parks will help minority audiences foster personal connections to their Parks and begin to see their own stories reflected in the exhibits, print media, and interpretive programs.

Stonyfield Farm

Stonyfield Farm LogoStonyfield Farm selected the National Park Foundation to participate in its national “Bid With Your Lid” promotion along with two other non-profits, New American Dream and Sustainable Harvest. Consumers were encouraged to vote for their “favorite” of the non-profits by sending in Stonyfield yogurt lids during the promotion. The National Park Foundation came in first!

The Hertz Corporation

The Hertz Corporation LogoOn June 14, 2007, the National Park Foundation launched an exciting new partnership with the Hertz Corporation for every reserved and paid rental from the Hertz Green Collection (a special group of fuel-efficient vehicles and hybrids), the company will donate $1 to the National Park Foundation with a minimum contribution of $1 million.

The UPS Foundation

The UPS Foundation LogoThe UPS Foundation, as part of its Volunteer Impact Initiative, has provided funding for the Foundation to create and support the Volunteer Senior Ranger Corps program. The program, a partnership between the NPF, the National Park Service, and Environmental Alliance for Senior Involvement (EASI), was designed to create and model opportunities for seniors to develop and express stewardship for national park resources and positively affect their local communities through volunteerism.
