July 13-19, 2013 -- Grand Canyon National Park

Join the National Park Foundation for an exciting 7 day/6 night rafting adventure down the Colorado River in the heart of Grand Canyon National Park!
Board a luxury coach in Las Vegas on the morning of Saturday, July 13th for a scenic drive to the historic El Tovar Hotel on the edge of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. That evening enjoy a private welcome reception and dinner with senior park officials from Grand Canyon National Park as we watch the sun set over the canyon. The following morning we will board our rafts at the Lee’s Ferry launch site in the beautiful Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, taking off on our 187 mile journey that according to the New York Times, should be on everyone’s bucket list! Experience the Grand Canyon as few people do, discovering beautiful waterfalls or exploring a river bed winding through the inner canyon walls. Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
Expedition Grand Canyon is currently available to members of the Century Society. Materials will be sent out to the Stewardship Circle by March 30, 2013. Please contact Lauren Harnishfeger at lharnishfeger@nationalparks.org for more information about NPF Expeditions and how you can be included on the next trip.
