An Early Morning Stretch at Jackson Lake
My 12 year old and her Grandfather worked out a secret knock the night before and at 6AM on the morning of this photo, she was up in the crisp mountain air knocking on Grandpa's RV door for a hike. He told her to pose for this great shot with the reflection in the lake and he got this dancer in the splits. After their hike they returned to Coulter Bay RV Park for omelets. It was a fun bonding moment for them, as Grandpa said all her chatter along their journey kept the bears away!
We spent 2 weeks camping in Grand Tetons and Yellowstone with our 2 children and both sets of their Grandparents. It was an amazing family experience as we saw these parks through not only our own eyes, but the eyes of the young and old alike.
Our kids kept journals along the way to keep their memories in print and in their own words.
As we travel our National Parks our kids have amazing passports and a large collection of Jr Ranger badges. We hope we have given them a love of all things in nature and that they pass it along to their own children.
