Climbing the Stately Pleasure Dome in Yosemite

I have always heard the Yosemite was the ultimate climbing destination. My kids and I have been climbing for a few of years now and wanted to see how we could fare at the ultimate location. While El Capitan was a little too adventurous for our skill level, we opted for something a little easier for us. The Hermaphrodite Flake to the Boltway is about a 400 feet climb rated at 5.7 and we did it in 3 pitches. It was a fun day with awesome views of the area. You can see Tenaya Lake below us in the photo as we are about halfway up the dome. When we done climbing, the kids decided to go swimming in the cold waters of the lake. A little too cold for me though.
