2014 National Park Resolutions

Our resolution is to visit two national parks in South Florida, Biscayne and Everglades National Parks during the month of January! Thought we'd start with the closest national parks and work our way onwards...towards visiting all the National Parks in America!!!
To get my daughter and I out to California to see the Redwoods, the sequoias and Yosemite. Lets hope I can make my resolution a reality.

Buying my best friend an annual pass for Christmas.
convince a pretty woman like that to go n.park hopping.

This year, I'm going to write about the National Parks on my blog Notes Along the Way http://marymontaguesikes.blogspot.com. I also plan to create paintings from photos I've taken at some of the parks.
I am 65 years old and am having a race with time in visiting as many national parks as I can and getting my Passport to America's National Parks stamped at each location. This summer I want to hike through Utah's national parks and especially photograph the hoo doos in Bryce Canyon.

What better way to view the stars than to visit the Great Basin National Park. It's out of the way, no crowds, just you and nature (and a telescope). I can't wait to visit.
