2014 National Park Resolutions

See the Wild Mustangs running free!

My New Year's Resolution is to continue to fight BLM and US Forest Service against the removal of Mustangs from "our land". The horses belong on this land and should not be removed it is their natural habitat.
Exploring the Everglades in January. Hope to visit Bryce Canyon & Zion NP in March. Summer will find us @ some NP in the cool mountain air. Our goal is to visit & revisit all the National Parks during our retirement.
To Denali in the summer of 2014

Have visited over 11 National Parks last summer and plan to visit more this summer. Want to see all National Parks in the lower 48 states. So far 31 parks visited.

Paint a landscape in as many National Parks as possible!

I've explored 25 major National Parks. On my way to Everglades, Biscayne, and Dry Tortugas National Parks in February 2014!!

My favorite hike is Old Rag, and I'm at the point where I'm doing it for time. My Resolution is to beat my last time of the entire trail in 1 hour and 43 minutes! I want under an hour this year!

1)Visit 5 Notional Parks this year. 2)Take my students to 2 National Parks this year. 3) Hike 5 miles in at least 3 parks this year. 4) Organize a clean up involving my students in at least two NPs this year, leaving them better than we found them. 5) Encourage my students to to support our National Parks.

Visit Yellowstone and take awesome photographs!
