2015 National Park Resolutions

We have resolved to have visited, and see, all of the National Parks (and their other names) by the Centennial of the National Park Service. (We currently have 33 un-visited - out of 401 - and another 5 which were visited, but no "stamp" as proof of our visitation.) Wish us luck! We'll need it!
Hike the PCT. Okay, well, only a really small portion of it (I don't like to camp so it'll just be a day hike) as I roadtrip through CA, OR, WA and ID in September. I resolve to hit at least 5 NP's and 2 NM's on my trip

To backpack through Yellowstone Summer 2015

To keep my commitment...I do a photographic journey to National Parks every year! This year I am targeting Acadia, however thanks to family I'm trying to add NE Utah Parks. I give up a lot for grown up reasons (kids, work, finances) but this commitment is too good for the soul so it remains at the top'

Climb Half Dome with my 2 daughters so I can show them where I want my ashes scattered
Complete more Junior Ranger programs

Take our 6-year daughter to all five NPS properties in our home state of Nebraska. Then, share those adventures with everyone so they know we can have adventures in Nebraska, too.

To take advantage of our local natinoal park in the Cuyahoga Valley - hike it and participate in the programs plus do some weekend trips to as many as I can get to.

To use my National Parks Pass a lot more!!

To visit Zion, Bryce, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef with my husband and son!
