Legacy Project: Fossil Discovery Trail Exhibits
Developing the Fossil Discovery Trail Exhibits will be a building block to the future of Big Bend National Park. It will be the first new interpretive exhibit being created in the park in decades. Big Bend has the most dinosaur fossils of any national park and the most recent important paleo discoveries. At present, however, there is no in-depth focus on the dinosaurs of Big Bend within the park. This exhibit will bring the past to life, delighting dino-loving kids and forming a focal point for family visits. It will attract new visitors and will add a whole new day of discovery for all visitors - making the long trip to reach Big Bend worth every mile.
