Rock Creek Park
Located in Washington D.C., Rock Creek Park is one of our country’s premier urban national parks offering a variety of outdoor activities, as well as educational and cultural resources for all ages. Visitors can walk in the footsteps of Piscataway Indians, tour some of the oldest structures and best landscape architecture in Washington D.C., and discover remnants from the Civil War. Rock Creek Park also offers a bounty of options for outdoor enthusiasts including hiking, biking, tennis, golf, exercise trails, horseback riding and a boat center. And during the summer months, visitors can attend music, dance and theater performances at the park’s Carter Barron Amphitheatre.
