Our family has been enjoying visits to National Parks for almost 40 years. It began with a 3,200 mile loop of the southwest with visits to Carlsband Caverns, Saguaro, Grand Canyon, Arches, Bryce, Mesa Verde and other parks; continued with visit to Yosemite on our honeymoon and numerous trips to parks with our kids. Now that we are empty nesters, our park visits have continued. This summer we completed a 4,800 mile road trip from our home in the Chicago area to Theodore Roosevelt, Glacier, North Cascades, Mt Rainier, Little Bighorn Battlefield, Devil's Tower, Mt Rushmore and the Badlands. This was our third visit to the Mt Rushmore/Badlands area and each time we see and learn new things.
