Duane Smeckert

In 1975 my class went to D.C. on our senior trip.
At that time you were still allowed to climb the stairs.
Ten of us decided to go for it. I was exhausted and to this
day don't remember my time. I was nowhere near first, but not last.
I would love to walk up those stairs again.
