We visited this gorgeous park in 2012. The majestic snow-capped mountains surround a pristine, turquoise lake that is infused with lush greenery. Our float plane trip both in and out filled our eyes and minds with sights not to be forgotten. Our pontoon boat field trip blessed us with sightings of a great grizzly feeding on feisty salmon, as well as a mother grizzly teaching her two cubs the rewards of diving for lunch. We were so impressed with the way the pontoon trip respected a day in the life of a grizzly as well as leaving a smaller footprint on this glorious lake. This day at Lake Clark a National Park and Preserve was a highlight of our trip to Alaska.
