Macy's Extends Matching Gift Program Into May
Newsbyte – Macy's, America's retailer, announced today it will continue its matching gift program in support of the National Park Foundation up to $500,000 through May 31, 2010. The fundraiser, which began in April, seeks to raise a total of $1 million for the National Park Foundation through a matching gift campaign.
"Macy's support of the National Park Foundation has helped connect more than 100,000 kids to the national parks this spring," said Betty Hallman, vice president of corporate partnerships for the National Park Foundation. "This has been one of our most successful spring online fundraisers ever, and we hope that all park lovers will consider making a small gift, which will then be matched by Macy's. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to double their support for our national parks!"
