WORLDWIDE DAY OF PLAY

Nickelodeon is teaming up with the National Park Foundation and the National Park Service to bring its 8th annual Worldwide Day of Play to Washington D.C. The free event, which will be held on the Ellipse in President’s Park on September 24, will host activities and will feature performances and appearances by all of the Nickelodeon favorites including Big Time Rush, iCarly, Victorious, The Fresh Beat Band and many more. PARKS FOR PLAY 2010

Discover just some of the ways your kids can enjoy and connect to national parks with “Parks for Play: 35 National Park Adventures for Kids of All Ages.” This new resource produced by the National Park Foundation showcases 35 great national parks to be enjoyed specifically by kids and families. It’s free and here to help you share a park and shape a life.

Thousands of kids across the country and world have participated in the live broadcasts from America’s national parks.
