Each year, November 11th marks a day of remembrance for the service, and often sacrifice, of our nation’s military. Many national parks around the country hold events honoring both our fallen heroes and all of those who serve. However, with nearly 100 national parks memorializing the actions of those who have and continue to answer the call of duty, national park visitors are able to learn more about and pay tribute to our nation’s military not just on November 11th, but every day.
A listing of Veterans’ Day events can be found on the National Park Service events calendar
